Logistics expert Altus Norway has delivered an outsized gas module from Qidong to Shanghai in China.
The module was received from a fabrication yard in Qidong and weighed 750 tonnes. A team from Altus Norway oversaw operations through video conferences, telephones and emails due to Covid-19 lockdowns.
"Our personnel managed the full process of marine engineering, appointment & handling of MWS requirements, grillage design, coordination towards the yard for load-out and discharge at the final destination, along with all permits and customs handling requirements,” a spokesperson for Altus said.
Altus Norway is a member of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, which represents in more than 100 countries.
